Introduction  

Safeguarding refers to the prevention and response to sexual exploitation, abuse  or harassment, and any broader forms of violence, exploitation and  abuse. Safeguarding measures allow people to live free from sexual abuse, harm,  discrimination and neglect. In this document, the safeguarding procedures detail  how safeguarding commitments will be enacted across the Locally-Led Adaptation  Metrics for Africa (LAMA) project by the Africa Research and Impact Network (ARIN).
